Lust: H & M Multistriped Jersey Dress

March 27, 2011

I’ve been eyeing up this jersey dress in H & M for the past few weeks, but when I saw one of the fashion editors at one of the big fashion glossies wearing it with a cute top knot bun with bangs, while on media visits for a client a few weeks ago, I simply had to have it.

It not only ticks off two key trends – stripes and bright bursts of colour – but also boasts an impressively well cut silhouette, which you wouldn’t otherwise expect for the £19.99 price tag.

Unlike many high street buys, it isn’t over designed – just a simple, classic zip at the nape of the neck and flattering, fitted short sleeves.

A perfect example of the classic Swedish design H & M does so well.

I agree, they do seem to do classic style so well – if only we had H&M in Australia! I miss living in the UK.

Ahh that must be annoying! I bet you’ve got loads of great stores down there too though? That’d be an ace post – lifting the lid on the best Australian high street brands. I’m always jealous of the Scandinavians for having Monki and Weekday!
